Am I allowed to bring pets? Please let us know if you intend to bring pets as they may incur an additional charge. Pets must remain outside at all times and need to be kept under control to avoid chasing the wildlife. What do I need to bring? We don’t supply any basic food items (but there are usually some basic things left by previous guests) so you will need to do a shop before you arrive for tea, coffee, bread and milk. Each bed has a set of sheets, covers, blankets and pillows (except the sofa beds – you will need to bring bedding for these if you use these beds during your stay). Basic toilet supplies are provided including bath towels, soap, toilet paper and shampoo. Please bring beach towels as we don’t provide these. Is there any firewood? There is usually wood (stored behind the workshop on the right hand side of the house). However, we can not guarantee supply so please bring some wood if you want a fire. Please do not use any wood that is laying around the property. Do I need a 4WD? Absolutely not - we often get this question and can confirm that a 4WD is not required to get to the property. Even in heavy rain, the road from the ferry to the house is 2WD accessible without any issues. How do I get the keys? We will email the details about how to open the security gate to the property and the key access to the house prior to your visit. |
