Potentially Life Threatening Emergencies
In the unlikely event of a bushfire or similar emergency while you are staying at the property, please follow the following instructions, tune in to all TV, radio and online emergency communications and follow their advice.  Remember:

• Don't wait and see. It is extremely dangerous to leave after there are signs of fire in your area. Come up with a plan to decide when to leave, where you will go and how you will get there.
• Consider moving children, the elderly and people with illness or disability, as well as animals, away from danger as early as possible.
• If you live in or intend to travel to a high-risk bushfire area, know the location of the nearest bushfire safer place, meeting point or evacuation centre and how to get there.
• Check the frequency of the nearest ABC Radio station using our frequency finder and/or check ABC Emergency on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date with conditions.
• Always notify your family and friends of your plans and intensions to stay or go.
• We have prepared a Bush-fire Plan () and have provided a copy of the Noosa North Shore Community Disaster Management Plan which includes emergency contact numbers.  Use the Evacuation Map to guide you to a safe area (once emergency services have directed you)

Non Life Threatening Emergencies

• Water.  If the water runs out, please call & SMS one of the owners immediately.  We have a backup water tank and can talk you through how to switch the pumps from the main tanks to the backup tanks.  Failing that, we can arrange for a water tanker to deliver water.  We are NOT on mains water.
• Power.  If the power stops working, please call & SMS one of the owners immediately.  Check the fuses (right hand side of wardrobe in the main bedroom in the Main House,  2nd fuse box is located in the right hand side tall cupboard in the West Wing TV room).  If there is still no power, walk along the line of power poles from the house to the property gate and see if any of the power lines have come down – DO NOT TOUCH ANY FALLEN POWER LINES.  If the power pole check is OK please call Energex on 13 62 62 or check out their power outage website 
• Dogs.  Occasionally, we have had stray dogs bothering people on the property, please call & SMS one of the owners immediately.
• Septic System.  If the system smells, stops working, is blocked or backed up, stop using the system and please call & SMS one of the owners immediately.  We will call an emergency plumber
• Ferry.  Outside operating times, you can call (07) 5447 1321 and request a ferry noting this will incur a significant fee
